Sights and Sensations
These photographs are curiosities. They range from a “ghost sign” on a building to a dog pee stick to an artful outdoor staircase behind a closed restaurant. Some are from residences where homeowners have gotten creative with artworks, signs, and humorous elements. Undoubtedly a favorite will always be the close-up of Maurie and Flaurie, the hotdog-shaped Superdawg Drive-in icons atop the famed 50’s-style drive-in restaurant.
These subjects were all chosen at random and by the whim by the photographer. Enjoy them and then see if you can locate where they are in the Gladstone Park neighborhood.
